Targeted Transmissions
Get your message out to the media connections necessary to ensure the greatest reach. Focus on a particular media market in a state or region or send your release out nationally. Tell us where you want it sent and we’ll get it there using the Forum’s experience in targeting. Prices vary; see current rate card.
Electronic Distribution
Send your media advisory out directly to the e-mail boxes of key decision-makers. Increasingly, media outlets are asking to receive press releases via e-mail. Now, for just $25 per release you can use the Forum’s extensive list of media e-mail addresses to expand your release to the press the way they want to receive it.
Editing Services (with distribution only)
The Forum’s experienced editing staff is available to assist you in crafting your message for your organization’s public policy needs. Services range from $20 for public service announcements to as little as $35 for press releases when you use any other distribution service. Editing services only available with distribution order.
Hand Delivery
Take advantage of the Forum’s handy location in the center of the media for only $35 per release. Operating out of the National Press Building, the Forum can hand deliver your press releases right to the door of all the outlets in the building, such as media chains Knight Ridder and Media General as well as the national office of several state newspapers including The Plain Dealer and San Francisco Chronicle, just to name a few.
Free Repeat Distribution
Resend any release at no additional charge when any reporter requests a duplicate copy of your release.
Electronic Daybook
Extend the reach of your press releases, maximize access to the media and generate increased coverage of your newsworthy events, achievements and viewpoints with the electronic Daybook. And do it for FREE when you order distribution. Or order just the Daybook for $25 per posting.
This online calendar is available to journalists searching for events and achievements on local, state, regional or national levels. It’s the “what’s happening” of the nonprofit world. So whether you are launching a campaign, holding a rally or releasing the findings of a report, the Daybook can generate coverage for you.
E-lerts
As an additional service of the Daybook, the Forum sends e-lerts to opt-in journalists who request releases in a specific region or on a specific issue. With e-lerts, your release goes directly to the media contacts looking for press releases like yours.
Daybook Multimedia Enhancement
Grab attention by supplementing your releases with multimedia – charts, streaming audio and video, or photos. When your release is enhanced with multimedia, you better your chances of coverage on television or radio broadcast and online media websites. You can talk to one of the staff about what enhancement might be right for you. Enhancements start at just $25 per month for photos and documents and $40 for streaming audio and video.
